Welcome to Fall 2024. We’re trying something different this year with our beginning-of-term reminders. You will receive this email the week before the term starts, and it will always include links to standard information. Rather than reproduce the information in the body of the email, we will highlight only the new or changed information for each term. At the bottom of each linked file, you’ll find a log detailing changes from the previous edition. You can reference the linked files at any time on the Faculty Commons website.

Student Learning Outcomes

Chemeketa has a set of approved student learning outcomes written by faculty for all courses and credentials. As noted in the Faculty Handbook and Syllabus Checklist, faculty are expected to list course outcomes in their syllabi and use them to guide planning and assessment for each course they teach. Outcomes for credit courses are listed in the course descriptions in the college catalog; outcomes for non-credit courses are available through resources on the Curriculum Resource Center SharePoint site.
