Dear Chemeketa Faculty,

Thank you for your tremendous work this year in teaching our students and facilitating their learning.  Transitioning out of the pandemic and facing the challenges presented by AI have created new layers of complexity in the classroom.  I appreciate very much your energy, commitment, and talent in continuing to do the critical work upon which our institution, students, and community depend. 

We are now in June and only a couple of weeks remain in the term.  I ask you to please encourage students in your classes to consider continuing their education with us by enrolling in summer and/or fall term classes, which they can do now.  

As we upgrade and improve our class search tools, continuing students may see and feel some changes.  Academic Advising continues to offer registration assistance for anyone who has questions about how to do so with our new system.  On the Salem Campus, students can come to Building 2/Room 115 to help get registered for Summer and/or Fall terms.  In addition, here is a video to help transition through this improvement to our systems:   How to Register Video

New student registration for Fall opens July 11.  Chemeketa Scholars may register now.
