This is a reminder that the Winter 2026 No Show Drop due date for the standard 11-week classes and first 5-week intensive classes is Tuesday, January 20, 2026 (Monday is a holiday).

The deadline for the second 5-week intensive classes is Monday, February 23, 2026.

If the student does not attend or come to a mutual agreement with the instructor by the start of the second class session (for online courses, this means participating by Thursday of the first week of the term), they must be dropped by the instructor (see the Class List and Registration POL 4015 & PRO 4015 for reference). Successful implementation of this policy relies on proactive communication with students about the expectations for week one participation.

If a faculty member does not process NSD’s within the appropriate timelines it may result in serious negative impacts to students’ financial aid or other outside sources of funding (e.g. scholarships), GPA, program standing, and student accounts.

The process to No Show Drop (NSD) a student from a course is accessed through the Faculty Self Service Menu. No Show Drops can be processed through Monday of the third week of the term for full-term and first 5-week sessions (Jan 20) or Monday of the eighth week of the term for second 5-week sessions (Feb 23). Once the student is dropped, they will automatically receive an email informing them of the change to their schedule.
